A check in is an accurate check of the property and confirmation of its condition against the inventory report on day one of the tenancy. This ensures that all parties are in agreement of the condition at the outset and the tenant is aware of the standard of maintenance required to the property during the tenancy.
The check in will ideally be carried out with the tenant present to
walk through the property and highlight any issues. We will take the
meter readings on day one and pass any keys over to the tenant
who will confirm and sign the inventory report and keys passed
across.
