The Tenant’s Deposit Scheme was introduced in April 2007 to
ensure that deposits taken by landlords and letting agents for
properties with annual rentals of less than£25k on assured shorthold tenancies were protected under the rules of this special scheme. Whilst for the most part the Tenant’s deposit Scheme can
regulate fairly both sides of the rental coin, without an authoritative
paper-trail disputes can arise and Avanti Inventories are in place to
